our story

The mrly mask is an extension of our brand’s ethos, “Simple is beautiful”, and was born from a simple, yet beautiful message that read, “Can you help!?”.  A request from a couple looking for masks made with their respiratory needs in mind sparked the idea for the mrly mask. They were not the only ones who wanted help. Kyoko quickly discovered a great need for masks that allow wearers to breathe easily through their daily activities or during rigorous exercise. Using lightweight, highly breathable fabric with an antimicrobial and water-repellent finish, the mrly mask was born.

Each mask is cut and individually sewn in America, then carefully packaged in recyclable materials.

Mrly masks are constructed using premium fabric from Japanese mills which are known for their technological ability to produce beautiful yarns and fabrics in clean, and safe working environments.
